Install and Configure Windows 7 Ultimate on my main desktop box
The installation will go on /dev/sda1 or disk 0 0.
The installation took about 30 minutes. Not too bad. Restarted 2 or 3 times. Logged in for the first time. The system is installing updates. Screen resolution looks to be 800x600. Odd that it didn't detect a 1280x1024 capability. I set the resolution to 1024x768. Need to reboot anyhow as the updates are complete. Let's see if the resolution changes will take effect. If not, then the problem is that Windows sees the monitor as generic, not BenQ T903.
Is see, now that I've rebooted there was a notice that the graphics card drivers were updated. The resolution was automatically set to the "recommended" 1280x1024. I'll leave it that way for the time being.
Adding music to the Media Player library. This seems to be going well.
I've installed this on the laptop too. Simple installation that didn't really take all that long. No driver issues at all. Everything works and the system seems stable and fast. I like it!
